Governments
We all live somewhere, and that somewhere maintains our roads, builds schools, provides the police that serve us, and pumps the water we soak our aching feet in at the end of a hard day. Of course, we pay the taxes - the sales taxes, the property taxes, the use taxes, the fuel taxes, the income taxes - that keep all those somewhere's, villages, towns, and cities in existence, not to mention the school systems, the transit lines and the water and sewer works. We all give a great deal to our local, state and federal government and we expect sound management in return.
